What does this fault code mean?
The engine control module checks the injector nozzles and the internal clock of the driver stage. The fault code is set when the control module finds the signal to be wrong. The cause is an internal fault in the control module.
Possible causes
- Internal fault in the control module
- The control module is in a test mode, for example during a workshop test
What you can do
- 1With the ignition on: read the diagnostic status and fault status for the code
- 2Check that the fuses are intact
- 3Check whether the fault is still present when the test has finished
- 4Have a workshop read and remedy the code with diagnostic equipment, since the fault lies in the control module
Symptoms you may notice1
- The check engine lamp lights or behaves abnormally
