What does this fault code mean?
The engine control module monitors the injector control with built-in control systems. The fault code is set when the internal monitoring functions detect a temporary problem in the injector control, and the unexpected behaviour in the injector control gives the fault.
Possible causes
- Fault codes stored at the same time: ECM-P062D06 or ECM-P062D92
- Signal interference
- Damaged injection valves
- Software error
What you can do
- 1With the ignition on, read the diagnostic status and fault status for the code and check whether it is active
- 2Check that the fuses are intact
- 3Have a workshop check the injection valves, since they are among the possible causes of the fault
- 4Remedy the root fault and see whether the code returns
Symptoms you may notice4
- The engine does not start, sometimes or all the time
- The engine lacks power, especially when pulling away from standstill
- The engine stalls on starting
- The starter motor cranks but the engine does not start
What the fault can affect1
- Fuel supply is shut off while the fault is active
