What does this fault code mean?
The code concerns the voltage supply to the camshaft sensor. The control module monitors the supply to several components, and the code is set when one of them has lost its voltage. The fault lies in the supply to the camshaft sensor, which is short-circuited.
Possible causes
- Camshaft sensor voltage supply is short-circuited
What you can do
- 1Read and clear the fault code, and start the engine to see whether it returns
- 2Check the fuses for the sensor supply in the owner's manual
- 3Look at the connector to the camshaft sensor for loose contacts, oxidation and chafing
- 4If the fault remains, have a workshop check the camshaft sensor and its supply
