What does this fault code mean?
The code is event-controlled and intended as information. It does not indicate a fault in the control module where it is active. The control module checks engine speed during start attempts, and the code is set when the speed is not high enough after a start request.
Possible causes
- The code does not come from a fault that requires repair
What you can do
- 1Read the fault code and clear it, then start the engine to see whether it returns
- 2Because the code is informational it normally does not need remedying. Still check that the engine starts as usual
- 3If the engine keeps starting poorly, have a workshop check the starting performance
