What does this fault code mean?
The code concerns a signal from the clutch pedal position sensor that is too low. The sensor feeds the central electronic module (CEM), which passes the reading to the engine control module over CAN. The engine control module checks that the signal from the CEM is reasonable, and the code is set when the signal is too low.
Possible causes
- Look for the fault cause in the central electronic module (CEM)
What you can do
- 1Read and clear the fault code, and test-drive with the clutch to see whether it returns
- 2If you have a diagnostic tool, read the clutch position in live data and compare it with the pedal movement
- 3Check that the clutch pedal moves freely and does not stick
- 4If the fault remains, have a workshop read and correct the fault in the central electronic module (CEM)
