What does this fault code mean?
The reading from the clutch pedal sensor has dropped below the permitted range. The control module verifies the reading from the clutch pedal sensor, and the code is set when that reading is wrong.
Possible causes
- Contact resistance or oxidation in the connectors
- Clutch pedal sensor is fitted incorrectly
- Damaged clutch position sensor
What you can do
- 1Read and clear the fault code, and check whether it returns with the ignition on
- 2Look at the connectors at the clutch pedal sensor to see whether they are oxidized or dirty
- 3Check that the clutch pedal sensor is fitted correctly
- 4If the fault remains, have a workshop check the clutch pedal sensor
Symptoms you may notice2
