What does this fault code mean?
The engine control module monitors the status circuit of the converter and sets the code when the voltage there is too high. The engine control module itself is given as the cause, and the fault is tested with the engine running.
Possible causes
- Damaged engine control module
What you can do
- 1After the engine has run for a while, read off the fault code status and check whether the fault is still active
- 2Check that the fuses are intact. The locations are shown in the instruction manual or on the fuse list
- 3If the fault remains, have a workshop investigate the engine control module
- 4Do not work on the converter or the engine control module yourself. This is a workshop task
Symptoms you may notice1
- The check engine lamp lights or behaves abnormally
