What does this fault code mean?
The code is named enable circuit for the coolant pump, but the condition concerns the signal wire to the pump, which is shorted or has a break, or another fault in the pump that prevents cooling.
Possible causes
- Damaged pump
- Short circuit or break in the wiring to the pump
What you can do
- 1Check that the fuses are intact. The locations are shown in the instruction manual or on the fuse list
- 2Read off the fault code with the ignition on and check whether it is still active
- 3Where possible, check HYBRID mode on a test drive, to establish the status of the fault
- 4Have a workshop check the pump and its wiring. Do not work on the hybrid system's wiring yourself

- The combustion engine is active in HYBRID mode more often than normal, or all the time
- A message and a warning symbol are shown in the display
