What does this fault code mean?
The engine control module's self-test (KOER) does not finish within the permitted time. The code is also set when the engine control module registers an internal fault.
Possible causes
- Internal fault in the engine control module
What you can do
- 1Read off the fault code with the engine running and check whether it is still active
- 2If the code remains after the engine has been switched off and restarted, have a workshop investigate the engine control module
- 3If the fault returns, have a workshop assess whether the engine control module needs replacing
