What does this fault code mean?
The code is set when the adaptation value for the low pressure pump exceeds its permitted upper limit. Although it is named as a fuel pressure regulator control fault, it concerns the low pressure pump adaptation.
Possible causes
- The low pressure pump is damaged
What you can do
- 1Check that the fuses are intact. For locations, see the owner's manual or the fuse chart
- 2If you have a diagnostic tool: read the adaptation value for the low pressure pump in live data
- 3If you find no fault: have a workshop check the low pressure pump
Symptoms you may notice1
- No noticeable symptoms for the driver
General guidance for car owners. Diagnosis on the car can point to a different cause.
