What does this fault code mean?
The ECM has found an internal fault in its own voltage converter, so the fault lies in the control module itself. The code is a comparison fault at heart, and the control module may need replacing if the fault comes back.
Possible causes
- A fault inside the ECM itself
What you can do
- 1If you have a diagnostic tool: after the diagnosis has finished, check that the code is no longer active
- 2Clear the code and see whether it returns after a drive
- 3If it returns: have a workshop replace the engine control module
