What does this fault code mean?
The fault applies to cylinder 3 and occurs when the ECM sees that the signal to the injector is not correct. A short circuit between the signal wires or damaged injectors may be behind it.
Possible causes
- Short circuit between the signal wires
- Damaged injectors
What you can do
- 1Note that the code applies to cylinder 3, and read it again after the checks
- 2Check the signal wires to cylinder 3 for chafing and see whether they have touched each other
- 3Use a multimeter to check that the signal wires to cylinder 3 are not shorted to each other
- 4Look at the injector for cylinder 3 for damage
- 5If you find no fault: have a workshop check the injector
