What does this fault code mean?
The code is event controlled and therefore does not show a fault in the engine control module. It is set when the engine's starting speed has been outside the limit for a certain time. The code does not need to be corrected and disappears when the conditions no longer apply.
Possible causes
- No repair is needed; the code only shows that the starting speed has been outside the limit
What you can do
- 1Check that the engine starts without delay and runs smoothly after starting.
- 2Clear the code and start the engine again. If the code does not return, it is gone.
- 3If the code returns together with a starting problem, have a workshop check the engine and the idle speed control.
Symptoms you may notice1
- No noticeable symptoms for the driver
