What does this fault code mean?
The code is an information code because it is event controlled. It does not show a fault in the engine control module, only that the control of the injection valve for cylinder 3 has had a fault while the engine was running. The cause is an incorrect fuel quantity adjustment.
Possible causes
- Incorrect fuel quantity adjustment, meaning the programmed values for the injection valves
What you can do
- 1Read the fault code again after a test drive. If it does not return, it is gone.
- 2If you have a diagnostic tool, read the status of the cylinder 3 injection valve with the engine running and check whether it is marked as a fault.
- 3If the code returns, have a workshop check that the fuel quantity adjustment for the injection valves is programmed correctly.
