What does this fault code mean?
The control module (ECM) has logged an internal fault in its lambda sensor control, bank 1. Even though the code is described as a missing message, it is the control module's own function that applies.
Possible causes
- A damaged engine control module (ECM)
What you can do
- 1Read off the fault codes and note which are present
- 2Check that the connectors on the engine control module are seated properly and clean
- 3If the fault code returns: have a workshop replace the engine control module (ECM)
