What does this fault code mean?
The engine control module (ECM) must have calibration values for the injectors programmed so that they match the injectors' classification. The fault code is set when the control module detects a fault in the fuel quantity adjustment, meaning the IMA programming of the injectors.
Possible causes
- IMA programming that failed or was interrupted
What you can do
- 1Read off the fault codes and note which are present
- 2If any programming of the engine control module has been interrupted or has not succeeded, that may be the cause of the fault code
- 3Have a workshop repeat the programming of the injector data in the engine control module
Symptoms you may notice3
- The engine performs poorly and lacks power, especially when pulling away from standstill
- The engine hesitates, surges or runs unevenly while driving
- A text message and a warning symbol appear in the display
