What does this fault code mean?
The engine control module (ECM) must have optimisation values for the injectors programmed so that they match the injectors' classification. The fault code is set when the control module detects a fault in the fuel quantity adjustment, meaning the IMA programming of the injectors. The fault is due to programming having been carried out with an incorrect IMA code.
Possible causes
- Programming carried out with an incorrect IMA code
What you can do
- 1Read off the fault codes and note which are present
- 2Have a workshop repeat the injector programming in the engine control module with the correct IMA code
- 3After the programming: switch the ignition on, start the engine and read off the fault codes again
Symptoms you may notice3
- The engine performs poorly and lacks power, especially when pulling away from standstill
- The engine hesitates, surges or runs unevenly while driving
- A text message and a warning symbol appear in the display
