What does this fault code mean?
While driving, the ECM reads the clutch pedal sensor. The fault code is set when that signal is incorrect and does not move, meaning it does not change as it should.
Possible causes
- Damaged clutch pedal sensor
What you can do
- 1Check that the fuses are intact. Their locations are given in the owner's manual
- 2Check that the clutch pedal moves freely and does not stick
- 3Check that the connectors at the clutch pedal sensor are firmly seated and free from oxide
- 4Clear the fault code and take the car for a drive. Read off the fault codes again afterwards
- 5If the fault code returns: have a workshop replace the clutch pedal sensor
