What does this fault code mean?
The ECM reads the signal from its internal barometric pressure sensor. The code is event-driven and is a follow-on to other fault codes. It does not need to be cleared, as it disappears when the conditions no longer apply.
Possible causes
- Damaged engine control module (ECM)
What you can do
- 1Do not troubleshoot this code on its own. It is a follow-on to other fault codes
- 2Read off the fault codes and fix the other codes first, as they are the root fault
- 3Once the root fault is fixed, this code can be cleared
- 4If the fault code returns after the other faults have been fixed: have a workshop replace the engine control module (ECM)
Symptoms you may notice1
- No noticeable symptoms for the driver
