What does this fault code mean?
Air pressure sensor A in the engine control module (ECM) gives a signal that is too high. The module checks its internal atmospheric pressure sensor and sets the code when that signal is faulty.
Possible causes
- Damaged engine control module (ECM)
What you can do
- 1Read the code, note it and clear it. Then drive the car and read again to see whether it returns
- 2Check that the fuses for the engine control are intact
- 3If the code returns, the engine control module should be replaced. Have a workshop do the job
Symptoms you may notice1
- No noticeable symptoms for the driver
What the fault can affect1
- The engine control uses a fixed fallback value for normal sea-level air pressure instead
