What does this fault code mean?
The module monitors its internal atmospheric pressure sensor, and the code is set when that signal is judged faulty. The code is event controlled and is meant as information. It does not in itself show a fault in the module where it is active, and it does not need clearing because it goes away when the conditions no longer apply.
Possible causes
- Damaged engine control module (ECM)
What you can do
- 1Read the code and check whether other codes are stored. Those are the ones to diagnose first
- 2This code is a knock-on code to other codes and should not be diagnosed on its own. Avoid clearing it needlessly, since it goes away once the conditions no longer apply
Symptoms you may notice1
- No noticeable symptoms for the driver
General guidance for car owners. Diagnosis on the car can point to a different cause.
