What does this fault code mean?
The module reads the real injection timing and checks it against the requested value. The code is set when the two differ. The fault may lie in the control module or in a damaged nozzle in the injector.
Possible causes
- Internal fault in the control module
- Damaged nozzle in the injector
What you can do
- 1Clear the code, drive the car and read again to see whether it returns
- 2If the code comes back, a workshop with diagnostic equipment needs to decide whether a damaged injector nozzle or an internal fault in the control module is responsible
Symptoms you may notice1
- Check engine lamp comes on or behaves abnormally
General guidance for car owners. Diagnosis on the car can point to a different cause.
