What does this fault code mean?
The engine control module (ECM) compensates engine torque while the air conditioning (A/C) is switched on. The code is set if the compensation exceeds the permitted limit. It can only be read while the A/C is activated.
Possible causes
- Damaged A/C pressure sensor
- Overloaded or damaged A/C compressor
What you can do
- 1Check that the air conditioning cools normally and does not switch off by itself
- 2Check the fuses for the A/C and the engine management
- 3Read the pressure and status of the A/C system with diagnostic equipment
- 4If the compressor runs hard or is overloaded, a workshop should inspect it
Symptoms you may notice1
- No noticeable symptoms
