What does this fault code mean?
The code is set when the engine control module (ECM) detects a fault in the fuel quantity adjustment and the IMA programming of the injection valves is missing. The fault shows that the optimizing parameters are not programmed into the module.
Possible causes
- The IMA programming is missing
What you can do
- 1Read the code with the diagnostic tool and see whether it is active or only stored
- 2After clearing it, switch the ignition on again and read; if the code is still there, the programming is still missing
- 3Let the workshop know if you have recently worked on the injectors or the engine control module
- 4Have a workshop download the software again and program the optimizing parameters, since an interrupted programming is a possible cause
