What does this fault code mean?
This code is set as a follow-on fault to one or more faults detected by the electric rear axle drive control module (IEM). Although the code is titled lost communication with the hybrid powertrain control module, it applies when the engine control module receives a speed-limit request from the IEM. The root fault in the IEM should be checked first, and the code in the engine control module can then be cleared.

- 1Read the codes in the electric rear axle drive control module (IEM) and fix them first
- 2Clear the code in the engine control module only after the root fault in the IEM is fixed
- 3Check the CAN connectors at the engine control module for loose or corroded connections
- 4Do not work on the high-voltage system yourself. Have a workshop check the electric rear axle drive control module and its codes
