What does this fault code mean?
Although the code is titled lost communication with the hybrid powertrain control module and invalid signal, it applies to a request for speed limitation from the electric rear axle drive control module (IEM). The code is set when the engine control module has received such a request. It is set as a follow-on fault from one or more faults registered by the IEM.

- Follow-on fault from one or more faults detected by the IEM
- Fault in the electric rear axle drive control module (IEM), which should be diagnosed
What you can do
- 1Read the codes in the electric rear axle drive control module (IEM) and fix them first
- 2Clear the code in the engine control module only after the IEM codes are fixed and cleared
- 3Check the CAN connectors at the engine control module for loose or corroded connections
- 4Do not work on the high-voltage system yourself. Have a workshop check the electric rear axle drive control module and its codes
