What does this fault code mean?
The brake control module (BCM) has detected a fault on the speed signal and sends a fault message to the engine control module (ECM), which then sets its own code. The cause is therefore an incorrect speed signal from the BCM. A matching code for the wheel speed sensor signal is also stored in the BCM.

- The BCM sends an incorrect speed value
What you can do
- 1Read the fault codes in the brake control module (BCM) first and remedy the speed sensor fault stored there.
- 2Read the fault codes in the engine control module. If any of ECM-U012088, ECM-U000188, ECM-U1A1400, ECM-U000108 or ECM-U000100 is stored, investigate it first.
- 3Do not work on the brake system yourself. Have a workshop check the BCM and the speed sensor if the fault returns.
