What does this fault code mean?
This fault code is a consequential fault, set when the power steering gets bad data from the SAS module. The root fault lies in the SAS and must be remedied first. Meanwhile the power steering uses a predefined value, and the code can be cleared once the root fault is fixed.

- Fault in the steering wheel angle sensor module (SAS), which sends the information

- 1Read the fault codes in the SAS first and remedy them there
- 2Clear this code only after the root fault in the SAS has been remedied and cleared
- 3Then road test the car and read the fault codes again to see whether this code returns
- 4Steering is affected by the fault, so have a workshop fix it soon if the code remains
