What does this fault code mean?
The power steering module is missing a local parameter file, which makes its software faulty. The fault code is set when the module receives power. A predefined value is then used instead of the settings that belong to the car.

- Faulty software because the local parameter file is missing
What you can do
- 1Start the engine and read the fault code status
- 2Clear the fault code and road test to see whether it returns
- 3Have a workshop download the correct software with its local parameter file to the power steering module
- 4If the internal fault is permanent, the module must be replaced, which a workshop does
