What does this fault code mean?

The integrated audio module (IAM) registers an incorrect signal from the AM/FM antenna. The cause is a short circuit in the wiring harness between the antenna amplifier and the audio module. The radio then does not work, or receives poorly.

What you can do

1Switch off the ignition and disconnect the connector to the audio module (IAM)
2Check the connections for contact resistance, play and oxidation
3Use a multimeter to check that the antenna cable is not shorted to supply voltage or to earth
4Repair the short in the wiring and test the radio
