What does this fault code mean?
The integrated audio module (IAM) registers that no signal reaches the speaker in the left front door on the signal wire. This means the signal does not get through to the speaker, so no sound comes from it.
Possible causes
- Open circuit on the signal wire between the module and the speaker in the left front door
- Damaged speaker in the left front door
What you can do
- 1With the ignition off, check the connectors at the integrated audio module for contact resistance, play and oxidation
- 2Follow the signal wire to the speaker in the left front door and look for breaks, chafing or loose contacts along the way
- 3Use a multimeter to check that the signal wire is not broken between the module and the speaker
- 4If no fault is found in the wire or connectors, have a workshop replace the speaker in the left front door
- 5After the work, clear the fault code and check that it does not show again
