What does this fault code mean?
The integrated audio module (IAM) registers that signal is missing from the speaker in the right rear door. The signal does not reach it, so the speaker goes silent.
Possible causes
- Open circuit on the signal wire between the module and the speaker in the right rear door
- Damaged speaker in the right rear door
What you can do
- 1Check the connectors at the integrated audio module, with the ignition off, for contact resistance, play and oxidation
- 2Follow the signal wire to the speaker in the right rear door and look for breaks or loose contacts along the way
- 3Use a multimeter to check that the signal wire is not broken
- 4If no fault is found in the wire, have a workshop check and if needed replace the speaker in the right rear door
- 5After the work, clear the fault code and check that it does not show again
