What does this fault code mean?
The IAM unit checks the signal from the navigation's internal hard drive and has received no signal at all. The cause is either disturbed or missing communication with the hard drive or a damaged module, and navigation is then affected in several ways.

- Communication with the integrated hard drive is disturbed or missing
- Damaged integrated audio module (IAM)
What you can do
- 1Check that the fuses for the navigation are intact
- 2Try voice guidance, saved places and map display and see which functions work
- 3If you have diagnostic equipment: run a self-test of the module and read whether fault codes for the navigation hard drive have been set
- 4Have a workshop check the communication with the hard drive and replace the integrated audio module if the fault remains
- 5After the work, clear the fault code and check that navigation works
