What does this fault code mean?
The integrated audio module (IAM) has detected that the USB port is drawing too much current. The module can only detect this fault when something is connected to the port, so the cause is often the USB device itself or its cable.
Possible causes
- Incompatible or faulty USB device, such as a charger or hub drawing too much current
- Damaged USB cable or a short to ground in the port
- Damaged integrated audio module (IAM)
What you can do
- 1Disconnect the USB device and try a different, simple USB memory stick
- 2Replace the USB cable if the device is connected by cable
- 3Check that the port is not damaged and has nothing lodged in it
- 4If no device works, have the port and the audio module checked by a workshop
