What does this fault code mean?
The IAM unit checks the power consumption of the antenna amplifier and has registered that it is too low. The fault is that the supply wire has contact with voltage or is broken, and radio reception then becomes poor.
Possible causes
- The supply wire to the antenna amplifier is short-circuited to voltage
- Break in the supply wire to the antenna amplifier
What you can do
- 1Check that the fuses for the antenna amplifier are intact
- 2With the ignition off, check the connectors at the antenna amplifier for contact resistance, play and oxidation
- 3Use a multimeter to check that the supply wire has no contact with voltage and is not broken
- 4After the work, check that radio reception is good and that the fault code does not return
