What does this fault code mean?
The IAM unit checks the function of the built-in CD player and has not received a reply from it for too long. The fault is disturbed or missing communication between the module and the CD player, or a damaged module, and then the CD player does not work.
Possible causes
- Communication between the module and the built-in CD player is disturbed or missing
- Damaged integrated audio module (IAM)
What you can do
- 1Check that the fuses for the CD player are intact
- 2If you have diagnostic equipment: activate the CD player and see whether the fault code comes back
- 3If the code comes back, have a workshop replace the integrated audio module
- 4After the work, clear the fault code and check that the CD player works
