What does this fault code mean?
The integrated audio module (IAM) has detected that the voltage on the signal cable to the antenna amplifier is too high. The code applies to antenna number 2 and may show up as poorer radio reception.
Possible causes
- Signal wire shorted to ground, running between the integrated audio module (IAM) and the antenna amplifier
What you can do
- 1Read the code, clear it and check whether it returns after a test drive
- 2Check that the fuses for the radio and antenna system are intact
- 3Check the connectors at the antenna amplifier and the audio module for loose, corroded or damaged contacts
- 4Use a multimeter to check that the signal cable to the antenna amplifier is not in contact with ground (the car body)
- 5If the fault returns, have a workshop check the integrated audio module (IAM) with diagnostic equipment
