What does this fault code mean?
The integrated audio module (IAM) has detected that the signal on the cable between the control module and the antenna amplifier is missing or incorrect. The code applies to antenna number 2 and may show up as poorer radio reception or problems with navigation.
Possible causes
- Open circuit in the signal cable
What you can do
- 1Read the code, clear it and test the radio and navigation to see whether the fault comes back
- 2Check that the fuses for the radio and navigation are intact
- 3Check the connectors at the antenna amplifier and the audio module for loose or corroded contacts
- 4Look for chafing or damage along the cable between the audio module and the antenna amplifier
- 5Use a multimeter to check that the signal cable has no break; otherwise have a workshop check the integrated audio module (IAM) with diagnostic equipment
