What does this fault code mean?
The integrated audio module (IAM) has found that the voltage on the antenna lead, which runs from the control module to the antenna, is too low. The code applies to antenna number 4 and only to cars for the Japanese market. It may show up as a navigation problem, and the fault is only recorded once the conditions are met.
Possible causes
- Short circuit to ground on the antenna cable
What you can do
- 1Read the code, clear it and test the navigation to see whether the fault comes back
- 2Check that the fuses for the navigation and antenna system are intact
- 3Check the connectors at the antenna and the audio module for loose or corroded contacts
- 4Use a multimeter to check that the antenna cable is not in contact with ground (the car body)
- 5If the fault remains, have a workshop check the integrated audio module (IAM) with diagnostic equipment
