What does this fault code mean?
The integrated audio module (IAM) has detected that the signal on the cable from the AUX panel is missing. It shows up as the AUX panel working poorly or not at all.
Possible causes
- Open circuit in the signal cable
What you can do
- 1Read the code, clear it and test the AUX panel to see whether the fault comes back
- 2Check that the audio system fuses are intact; the location of each fuse is in the owner's manual or on the cover of the fuse box
- 3Check the connectors at the AUX panel and the audio module for loose or corroded contacts
- 4Look for chafing or damage on the signal cable and use a multimeter to check that it is not broken
- 5If the fault remains, have a workshop check the integrated audio module (IAM) and the AUX panel with diagnostic equipment
