What does this fault code mean?
The fault concerns the output power A of the control module, and the integrated audio module (IAM) alerts when the signal is missing or incorrect. It may show up as poor radio reception on both FM and AM, or as the radio not working.
Possible causes
- Open circuit in the antenna cable
What you can do
- 1Read the code, clear it and test the radio to see whether the fault comes back
- 2Check that the fuses for the radio and antenna system are intact
- 3Check the connectors at the antenna amplifier and the audio module for loose or corroded contacts
- 4Look for chafing or damage on the antenna cable and use a multimeter to check that it is not broken
- 5If the fault remains, have a workshop check the integrated audio module (IAM) with diagnostic equipment
