What does this fault code mean?
The integrated audio module (IAM) checks its internal parts and has found a fault in its software. The fault is checked when the MOST network starts up, and it shows up as other audio problems in the car.
Possible causes
- The software is defective or has been changed
- Damaged integrated audio module (IAM)
What you can do
- 1Read the code, clear it and check whether it returns after a test drive
- 2Listen whether all audio functions, for example radio and CD, work, and note which ones do not
- 3Have a workshop reload the audio module with new software using diagnostic equipment
- 4If the fault returns after the reload, have a workshop replace the integrated audio module (IAM)
