What does this fault code mean?
The integrated audio module (IAM) has detected a fault in its software when the MOST network starts up. The fault concerns the program memory of the control module and most often shows up as other audio problems in the car.
Possible causes
- The software is defective or has been changed
- Damaged integrated audio module (IAM)
What you can do
- 1Read the code, clear it and check whether it returns after a test drive
- 2Note which audio functions work and which do not, so the workshop knows what is affected
- 3Have a workshop load the audio module with new software using diagnostic equipment
- 4If the fault returns after the reload, have a workshop replace the integrated audio module (IAM)
