What does this fault code mean?
The integrated audio module (IAM) has detected a software fault in its calibration and parameter memory. The sound from the speakers may then be muffled or distorted. A workshop can reload the software.
Possible causes
- The software is defective or has been changed
What you can do
- 1Read the code, clear it and listen after a test drive whether the sound has got better or worse
- 2Check that the audio system fuses are intact; the location of each fuse is in the owner's manual or on the cover of the fuse box
- 3Check whether the sound is muffled or distorted on all speakers or only on some, and note it
- 4Have a workshop read and check the audio module's software and parameters with diagnostic equipment
