What does this fault code mean?
The audio module draws its settings from the car's configuration data in the central electronic module (CEM) and from a local configuration file of its own. The fault is set when the local file is incorrect or missing, or when the configuration file cannot be obtained from the CEM.
Possible causes
- The vehicle's configuration does not reach the audio module
What you can do
- 1Read the code, clear it and check whether the audio system works after a test drive
- 2Check that the audio system fuses are intact; the location of each fuse is in the owner's manual or on the cover of the fuse box
- 3Have a workshop read the configuration in the central electronic module (CEM) and in the audio module's local configuration file with diagnostic equipment
