What does this fault code mean?
The infotainment control module (ICM) checks communication with the audio control module (AUD), and the fault code is stored when a fault is registered on it. The cause may be an internal fault in the audio control module or the module being missing. It shows up as the audio system not working.

- Internal fault in the audio control module (AUD)
- The audio control module (AUD) is missing
What you can do
- 1Read the code, clear it and check whether the audio system works after a test drive
- 2Check the fuses for the audio system; the location of each fuse is in the owner's manual or on the cover of the fuse box
- 3Have a workshop check that the audio control module (AUD) is connected and responds, and that it is listed in the car's configuration
- 4If the fault is permanent, have a workshop replace the audio control module (AUD)
