What does this fault code mean?
The infotainment control module (ICM) monitors the link to the subwoofer module (SUB). The fault code is set when the ICM finds a fault on that link. It shows up as no sound from the bass speaker.
Possible causes
- Fault inside the subwoofer module (SUB)
- The subwoofer module (SUB) is missing
What you can do
- 1Read the code, clear it and listen in the car after a test drive to see whether the bass returns
- 2Check that the audio system fuses are intact; fuse locations are listed in the owner's manual or on the cover of the fuse box
- 3Have a workshop check with diagnostic equipment that the subwoofer module (SUB) is fitted and responds
- 4If the fault is permanent, have a workshop replace the subwoofer module (SUB)
