What does this fault code mean?
The infotainment control module (ICM) monitors communication with the phone module (PHM). The fault code is set when a fault is registered on that link, and the phone function in the car then stops working.
Possible causes
- Internal fault in the phone module (PHM)
- The phone module (PHM) is missing
What you can do
- 1Read the code, clear it and make a test call to see whether the phone works
- 2Check that the fuses for the phone and the audio system are intact; fuse locations are listed in the owner's manual or on the cover of the fuse box
- 3Have a workshop check with diagnostic equipment that the phone module (PHM) is fitted and responds
- 4If the fault is permanent, have a workshop replace the phone module (PHM)
