What does this fault code mean?
The infotainment control module (ICM) watches the link to the traffic message channel module (TMC). The fault code is set when a fault is registered on that communication, and traffic information is then not shown or not updated.
Possible causes
- A problem inside the traffic message channel module (TMC)
- The traffic message channel module (TMC) is missing
What you can do
- 1Read the code, clear it and check whether traffic information appears after a test drive
- 2Check that the navigation fuses are intact; fuse locations are listed in the owner's manual or on the cover of the fuse box
- 3Have a workshop check with diagnostic equipment that the traffic message channel module (TMC) is fitted and responds
- 4If the fault is permanent, have a workshop replace the traffic message channel module (TMC)
