What does this fault code mean?
The infotainment control module (ICM) watches the link to the integrated audio module (IAM). The fault code is set when a fault is registered on that link, and the audio system then stops working.
Possible causes
- Internal fault in the integrated audio module (IAM)
- The integrated audio module (IAM) is missing
What you can do
- 1Read the code, clear it and check whether the audio system works after a test drive
- 2Check that the audio system fuses are intact; fuse locations are listed in the owner's manual or on the cover of the fuse box
- 3Have a workshop check with diagnostic equipment that the audio module (IAM) is fitted and responds
- 4If the fault is permanent, have a workshop replace the audio module (IAM)
